In hospital

There are many family forms and constellations. More and more women are choosing to become pregnant with the help of a donor and may therefore need to have a private nurse or midwife with them before, during and after the birth. When you come home from hospital, you have a big task on your shoulders. Many new parents have never carried a baby in their hands before and are therefore not always prepared for the task. The questions are many and they arise all the time. Nowadays, the mother/baby is sent home on the same day as the birth. It can feel overwhelming to come home, tired after a hard birth and with a new baby whose milk has not yet come in. This is where the Private Nurse can step in and help you with all the things you may need. For example, help with putting your new baby to bed, establishing breastfeeding and teaching you about maternity care.

Day care

Maternity nurses from Private Nurse can move in with you, if needed, and stay with you day and night for the first few days. Depending on how many days or weeks you need help and support, you will be assigned a permanent team of 2-4 nurses. If you contact us before the due date, we can put together a team that best matches your little family. Of course, we can also step in at short notice if, after returning home from the maternity ward, you find that things are getting worse and that you need support and help from caring and experienced maternity nurses.
